looking for an Executive Assistant to the Board.The Executive
Assistant to the Board will provide critical support and
administrative assistance to the Board of Trustees (Board), and act
as a liaison between the Board, Board senior staff, community
stakeholders, and constituents. Responsibilities and required
skills include the ability to perform administrative functions in a
dynamic environment; collaborate on initiatives of the Board;
prioritize and respond to highly sensitive, urgent, and
confidential information; research and prepare documents and
presentations; and manage special requests and projects as
assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/TRAININGAssociates degree
in business, public administration, communications, or related
field; Bachelors preferred.EXPERIENCEAt least five years providing
high-level executive (C-suite) support. Experience working within a
large organization and/or public agency preferred.Demonstrated
competency in these requirements:Knowledge: Advanced knowledge in a
variety of computer software applications, including email and
calendar management, word processing, spreadsheets, database, and
presentation software (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS
PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro). Must be technologically proficient and
able to adapt quickly to and effectively utilize a variety of
software platforms.Skills: Prioritize, organize, and act upon
information, data, and interests from diverse leaders, in a highly
time-sensitive environmentEstablish and maintain credibility with
Board members, UTA staff, political leaders, stakeholders, and
constituentsCommunicate information and ideas clearly, concisely,
and professionally, both verbally and in writingHigh-level
competence in reading and evaluating informationUnderstand complex
topics; can listen to, comprehend, and translate salient
messagesAbility to:Work collaboratively to accomplish team
objectivesWork with minimal supervision and take initiative to
achieve resultsRespond to urgent needs/requests of the Board and
staff while maintaining professional composure and balancing
divergent demandsHandle multiple tasks/interruptions throughout the
day; be flexible and change direction as neededManage a variety of
projects and tasks concurrently and produce quality work product in
a timely mannerComprehend and prioritize complex requests and
coordinate appropriate staff supportWork with elected officials and
constituents on key issues and resolve concerns through verbal and
written communicationsDecipher strategic topics, identify and
communicate relevant concepts, and prepare accurate reports Perform
administrative functions, including arranging travel, planning
events, managing budgets, processing expense reports, etc. Act with
