Job Description:
Utah Transit AuthorityUnder the guidance of the Director of Real
Estate & TOC (Director), oversees UTAs participation in Station
Area Planning efforts and predevelopment projects and services.
Such projects include implementing station access improvements,
environmental remediation, establishing tax increment districts and
other economic development tools, rezoning and entitlement efforts,
and supporting community efforts to progress station area
Implementation Plans. Oversees and delegates work to TOC Project
Specialists. Regularly acts as point of contact with local
municipalities and regional stakeholders.Minimum
QualificationsBachelors degree in urban planning and design,
Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Real Estate Development,
Geographic Information Sciences, or other closely related field.
(Master's Degree preferred)Five years progressively responsible
experience in regional and community planning, transportation
planning, urban design, economic analysis, and community
engagement. Two of the ten years experience stated above must
involve the management of large-scale real estate development
projects that involve both public and private stakeholders.
Proficient at the Intermediate level in MS Word and
Excel.Proficient at industry standard design software (i.e.
AutoCAD, Sketchup, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator,
InDesign, etc.), and project management software (i.e. Microsoft
Teams, Slack, etc.).Knowledge of at least ten of the areas listed
below. Expertise in specific areas marked with * are required:Urban
