The University of Utah is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Starbucks Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of store performance. Additionally, under the direction of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will supervise up to one of two Starbucks franchise locations at the University of Utah, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Support Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in achieving operational and sales targets, ensuring our store thrives.
Lead and Inspire: Train and mentor baristas and shift supervisors, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
Manage Inventory: Keep our store well-stocked and visually appealing by tracking inventory levels and coordinating vendor orders.
Delight Customers: Resolve customer complaints with a smile, ensuring every visit is a positive experience.
Analyze and Strategize: Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and set future goals.
Optimize Schedules: Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
Maintain Excellence: Oversee the cleanliness and safety of the store, creating a welcoming environment for all.

Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in a related field, with two of those years working as a supervisor, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); knowledge of related trade or department specific equipment, systems and procedures. Demonstrated organizational, human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
